Implementation of RKVY was started from 2008-2009. The aim of RKVY project was to increase the agricultural productivity .The projects brought under RKVY had the following objectives:
- To facilitate the intensive agricultural practices as well as to increase the cropping intensity in a sustainable manner.
- It aims to maximise return to the farmer in the agricultural sector.
- To protect the agricultural land from depletion of fertility.
